Because hes not a Ppaedophile

I thought he said that *he had a sexual preference
for boys aged 11 to 13.

ie he is a paedophile, knows it, and admits it.

That is not the only criterion.

I think it is sufficient - an adult who is sexually attracted to
children is a paedophile.

He was sexually attracted to children - ergo he is a paedophile.

A paedophile is sexually attracted to *prepubescent* children. Mr
Lambert appears to be an ephebophile (also known as a hebephile) as he
appears to be sexually attracted to adolescents.

You need to contact the OED and get them to correct their definition:

A. n. An adult who is sexually attracted to children.

The difficulty comes with the definition of "children" which changes from
country to country and probably from one generation to another.

Arguably, anyone who is sexually attracted to people under the age of 18 is
a paedophile. Perhaps that should be regarded as normal and acceptable, and
a new word should be invented for those who are sexually attracted to
prepubescent children.

To who?

By definition - he has said he is sexually attracted to boys aged 11
to 13.

Therefore he is a paedophile.

Not too difficult that - is it?

Yet it would be legal to have a sexual relationship with a sixteen
year old? Provided you didnt have any "indecent" pictures of them?

Yes, part of my sexuality is being a MAA.

Dictionaries are not primary sources.

You only have to search the Internet (or, dare I say, even, read a few
books/papers?), or through the Usenet archive, or visit my website,
for a full and detailed set of responses (and literature sources) to
similar, ill-informed soundbytes, from your predecessors.

You will or you will not.

I care not which one you do.

The words have been 'invented' and are clearly-defined in the
psychological literature (although, little is in concrete, in the
pschyo/psychia areas).
