Number Plate Recording At Scottish Hospitals by fictitious@gmail.com
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7806337.stm What's the point of spending money on this? . Cars can't be clamped and they can't impose " Penalties" despite what they say and they would still need to prove who was driving the car on the day although I accept parking for outpatients and visitors is probably a problem...

Laptop not quite good enough by Neil[_3_]
Bought a cheap laptop from PC World. The last laptop I bought there for a similar price a couple of years ago has been absolutely fine and done everything required of it. The new one works OK except that if you try to play SIMS2 there are serious problems with the graphics. On reading up about it, it seems the on board SIS graphics card is never going to work with SIMS2. It's not the most...

Returning clothing by LionOfTheSouth
I purchased an item of clothing online ...this http://www.surplusandoutdoors.com/shop/outdoor-clothing/combat-jackets/new-gunuine-u-s-air-force-issue-489828.html.Using the companys measurement guide I ordered the appropriate size, Large.Even this, I thought better slightly bigger is better than too small. It turned up and was indeed too small. So I returned it and opted for the XL. This fits on...

Odd credit card numbers - balance transfer not possible by Peter Hucker
Why is it some combinations of credit cards won't balance transfer to others. When I give them the card number, they say it's invalid, yet the same card works with other transfers, and always works when making purchases? Does anyone know anything about the national database of numbers? Are some banks out of date? I'm often told as soon as I read out the first 4 digits that they are wrong! --...

Brown - "They're Coming To Take Me Away Ha Ha" by Turk182
The whole point of the catastrophic policies of New Labour have apparently been to place us on test, The 'bust' economy was designed so that our character could be tested. This brilliant plan will cause us to work together for a better tomorrow. This is the kind of politics we need. Thank god for the vision of New Labour - getting involved in so many military conflicts and letting go of the...

Brown Makes Amazing Discovery - 2009 "Won't be Easy". by Turk182
Today is the 1st January 2009 and Gordon Brown has today warned us that 2009 "won't be easy" for Britain as it deals with the global economic crisis. (He still thinks we're ok - it's the others). http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7806415.stm Basil Faulty would have said "May I introduce to you Gordon Brown, special subject: the bleedin' obvious". Is the kind of forward thinking we need. ...

re; Dan's " Israel’s warped self-justification for murder " by sandy58[_2_]
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!, Dan. Look at both sides. Or can you? I doubt that. Some bunch of clowns ..hiding as usual, behind/among civilians .... "heros/martyrs-soon-to-be" taking on Israel with kitchen-made rockets. THEY (the fireworks-makers) are the ones taking liberties... THEY are the ones instigating the deaths of kids/civilians on their OWN side. Be honest. What country is going to sit back & talk...

Hello there, I run a website with discussion forums. One of our members has posted a thread discussing a bad experience with a company, however, they haven't named the company, they have merely discussed the bad experience and asked for advice (of course, they should have posted here, but there we go!). Anyway, a small company who claims this thread is about them (it's a business related to the...
