Parental Home Owned by Children - Mother Just Died by Graham Brooker
I am helping my friend, whose mother has just died, sort out the family home. I am sure a solicitor may get involved at some stage but it would be useful to know what questions to ask. In 1986 the father died and the house passed through his will to his 3 daughters stating in his will (drafted by a solicitor) that his wife had a life tenancy/right to live there. The house was registered in...

Doing my own house sale by TBM
I'm doing my own house sale. I'm not buying anywhere else so I don't see why I have to pay soemone to do it. We haven't even exchanged contracts yet and the buyers conveyancer has asked me to sign a TR1 transfer form and have it witnessed. As far as I can tell. this is the final bit of paper that transfers ownership from me to the buyers. I would have thought that this is the last thing that...

Old police record and 'security clearance' by RedHook
When I was 17/18 I got into trouble with the police a couple of times - nothing very serious, but I was charged and fined as so had a police record. This was over 20 years ago - What I'd like to know is if this will still be on my record and if so would it count against me in respect of being able to get UK government 'security clearance'. Regards RH

The Todal is now poncing for his pedophile mate Cynic by Andre
The Todal is naming actual names and suggesting his mate Cynic was being pressurised to work for me, cynic the pedophile tricked myself a member of parliament and a local Leeds city councilor to include him in submissions to the great and good on my behalf. These letters exist as does Cynic the pedophiles suggested improvements. What the ponce *the todal* does not want posters to know is that...

Police interview under caution - Reported for harassment by tim \(in Sweden\)
"Simon Earl" wrote in message ... When being interviewed under caution at a police station, does the suspect have a legal right to record the interview using his/her own equipment (ie: say a dictaphone)? Police interview under caution - Reported for harassment by PeteM
Simon Earl posted When being interviewed under caution at a police station, does the suspect have a legal right to record the interview using his/her own equipment (ie: say a dictaphone)? Probably no, but he has two other options. AIUI he has the right to request that a solicitor is present and that a copy of the police's recording of the interview is given to the

Interesting web site by Him over there
I was surfing around earlier and came across this website slagging off a firm of solicitors in Essex http://www.mossandcoleman.co.uk/ It seems they have little redress against the allegations made. Is there anything at all they can do about it, or is the author pretty well immune from any sanctions?

Need a solicitor to take on MI5 by Chris Howells
wrote: How would I find a solicitor motivated for an action against MI5? Looking at the Law Society website, "Civil liberties and human rights" in London gives 50 results. Are there particular firms, or solicitors within firms, which would take on such a case? You could try asking at the mental health department of your nearest hospital for their opinion.
