Fathers name on birth certificate. by jayne5364
Hi gang. Hope everyone is well. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this. My daughter and her fella split up when she was newly pregnant. They had no more contact until after the birth. Had a huge falling out and stopped seeing eachother (including him not seeing the baby). The baby was registered without the fathers name being on the certificate. To cut a long story short, they are now...

Need a solicitor to take on MI5 by SecretSquiddle
wrote in message ... I need a motivated lawyer to take on the Security Service, preferably under the Data Protection legislation for release of my data. In 2003 Bates Wells Braithwaite took on the case and there were two hearings before the Information Tribunal, which from BWB's choice were purely on the technical...

Know your 'neighbours' (USA style) by Steve Walker
wrote: Having said that, I think it would be more useful if such a site would show neighbours who create a large amount of noise at the time one wishes to sleep - but such a site would be useless since such people tend to move frequently. I certainly know whom I would prefer to live (but not socialise with) next to.

Know your 'neighbours' (USA style) by Steve Walker
a2z wrote: Thanks very much for taking the trouble to write such a brilliant reply. My OP may have given the impression that I wanted an online database in the UK but I was mainly interested in people's views. I can see that the American system is seriously flawed. And no, I don't work for the Sun. Blimey, rational & constructive discussion - is usenet broken again?

Wooden Flooring in the leasehold flat by Adrian Boliston

Apparently they have installed wooden floor and after a complaint simply put a thin carpet on top of this wooden floor. Is it legal? The lease states that the...

Tesco trolley - advice please by GB
Some kind soul has dumped a Tesco shopping trolley in my driveway. I have rescued it and put it in my garden. This raises a number of questions in my mind:- 1. Do I have to notify Tesco, or can I keep it? It would make a great brazier for burning leaves. I assume that this is a no-no, as the trolley is presumably stolen, and I would be receiving. Is that right? 2. If I have to notify Tesco,...

removal from jurisdiction - who pays by tp
Hi, A friends involved in a removal from jurisdiction hearing (his ex-wife wants to emigrate to Australia and take his kids). He has been given a quote of approx £2500 to £3000 by a solicitor to represent him. If he is successful (i.e. stops his ex-wife from leaving with the kids) who normally pays costs, him, her or each pay their own. Cheers,
