1. Am I being fair giving them 14 days from the engineer's first

2. If the answer to (1) is no, what would be fair?

Fathers name on birth certificate. by
jayne5364
Hi gang. Hope everyone is well.
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this. My daughter and her
fella split up when she was newly pregnant. They had no more contact
until after the birth. Had a huge falling out and stopped seeing
eachother (including him not seeing the baby). The baby was registered
without the fathers name being on the certificate. To cut a long story
short, they are now...

Know your 'neighbours' (USA style) by

Having said that, I think it would be more useful if such a site

I certainly know whom I would prefer to live (but not socialise

Thanks very much for taking the trouble to write such a brilliant

And no, I don't work for the Sun.
Blimey, rational & constructive discussion - is usenet broken again?

Not to "be there" for your child is the worst kind of isolation a

tell her, after she has made her mind up, that you will be there for

Tesco trolley - advice please by
GB
Some kind soul has dumped a Tesco shopping trolley in my driveway. I have
rescued it and put it in my garden. This raises a number of questions in my
mind:-
1. Do I have to notify Tesco, or can I keep it? It would make a great
brazier for burning leaves. I assume that this is a no-no, as the trolley is
presumably stolen, and I would be receiving. Is that right?
2. If I have to notify Tesco,...

removal from jurisdiction - who pays by
tp
Hi,
A friends involved in a removal from jurisdiction hearing (his ex-wife
wants to emigrate to Australia and take his kids). He has been given a
quote of approx £2500 to £3000 by a solicitor to represent him.
If he is successful (i.e. stops his ex-wife from leaving with the kids)
who normally pays costs, him, her or each pay their own.
Cheers,
