ANOTHER PALACE PERVERT by
charleswehner@hotmail.com
In the early years of Christianity, misguided Europeans attacked and
conquered the Temple of Solomon. They called themselves the "Knights
of the Temple of Solomon", or "Knights Templar" for short. They
believed that it was acceptable to kill non-Christians. However
Christianity is not a murder religion. They were wrong.
In 711, the Muslims invaded Spain - perhaps to stop...

The four biggest UK supermarkets are named in the report.
Basically, it confirms what I have long suspected: That the British

Scottish Alcohol Consumption by

Just listened to the ITV ( Scottish) News where they were speaking
about the amount of alcohol consumed in Scotland compared to other
parts of the U.K. They referred to the fact that Scots drank more
" Pure Alcohol" .

Is "Pure Alcohol" not a different thing?
The article above on the BBC site also refers to this .

I absolutely love this.

You've got to admire the crook's inventiveness.
I especially love the very last line of the report.
"He was last seen floating down Woods Creek on an inner tube."

Who actually decides what is the speed limit? by
Alasdair
Speed limits seem to be set very arbitrarily with no logical reasoning
in many cases. Obviously, you expect single carriageway roads in a
busy town centre to be 30mph but when you get out in the country or
the suburbs, the limit has no direct link to the width or character of
the road.
You can find a wide road with a 50mph speed limit drop down to 30mph
for no apparent reason as the character...

police 'producer' asking me for my bro's insurance certificate! by
hanrahan398@yahoo.co.uk
A traffic camera recorded an alleged speeding offence by my brother
when he was driving my car. I wasn't in it.
The police sent me a Notice of Prosecution and required that I name
the driver, so I did. (I admit I did ring him first). I gave them his
name and address - he lives in Strasbourg.
The police then sent me a letter saying that since my brother wasn't
named on my insurance certificate,...

FIRST we need to get the terminology right — it's child abuse, not
child pornography: every photograph depicts a real child being
sexually abused.
That stark lesson in language comes from the Child Exploitation and
