I have arranged to hire a minibus for an outing of a Church group on January 3rd 2009. The Bolton Woods Community Centre had agreed for me to hire their only minibus, and I know a council approved driver. Everything was set, all 14 seats are taken, and the the trip was eagerly awaited. Today, the Community Centre have telephoned me to inform that the minibus is no longer available...

Cones blowing into the Main road - Who is liable by Tommy Tucker
Tonight I passed at approx 50Mph (speed limit) a farm shop whose carpark is coned off, nobody was there and there a cone was blown into the main road as its very windy tonight. I was unable to avoid the cone becuase of a HGV on the other side of the road coming towards me, the cone has damaged my front bumper and fog light possbily more. Is the farm shop liable for the damage ??
