I have searched and search but cannot find anything about any previous cases

Car Insurance - Other party exagerating claim by

To cut a long story short, I had a very minor accident a few months
ago. 5mph bump into the car in front. No visible damage to his car,
cracked number plate on mine.
At the time, gave the guy my number, and told him to phone me and I'd
sort hom out 'if' there was any minor...

TWO-THIRDS of serious crimes are going unsolved by
Fat Freddy's Cat
http://www.thescotsman.co.uk/scotland.cfm?id=919612003
I'm not usually one to knock the police, but the above story in today's
Scotsman makes for pretty sad reading.
It seems that while income from 'criminal' drivers continues to soar,
detection rates against the kind of crimes most normal people like to see
cleared up are at a 5 year low.
It is possible in Lothian and Borders to commit a...

'Spent' Juvenile Cautions. by
Peter Coddington
I am given to understand that Police Cautions for Juveniles are
considered 'spent' and removed from the Police Nation Computer when
the recipent is 18 years of age or the caution has been recorded for 5
years,
If this is so. Can any reader inform me of the legislation or HO
Circular authorising this course of action. !

Car accident claim advice by
Nigel Jones
I'm interested in anyone's opinions on the following:
Our car was being driven exiting a car park of a local shop (like
about 1mph).
This exit adjoins a very minor road (turn left), then another minor
road (turn left)
Large delivery lorry enters the very minor road cutting the corner
Our car/lorry see each other and are stationary.
Lorry starts moving but misjudges/cuts corner, damaging...

Wills, inheritance, executors and trustees by
Da5id
Please, could someone answer these questions about UK inheritance law?
Jack Jones marries Mary Morgan who has an only child, Sarah.
Sarah and Jack don't get on. Sarah marries Phil and have a son Ricky.
Phil and Mary don't get on. Jack hates Phil because of that. Mary
becomes ill and dies.
Mary stipulates in her will that half the value of the house she and Jack
own is to be given to...

This probably sounds naive, but if a piece of land and/or building
is not registered with the Land Registry, is it possible for anyone
to register it in their name? Or stop it being registered by anyone
else?
Thanks

Appeal being heard by Judge who made Order appealed ?. by

Is it "normal" for an appeal against an Order to be heard
by the Judge who made the Order appealed ?. Or even is it
fair under article 6.1 impartiality ?.
Any ideas ?

Need to know basis by
Marshall Rice
In article , Sir
Mortimer Giles KC MA Oxon writes
Knowledge is ridiculous and should be rationed.
For in much wisdom is much vexation and he who increases knowledge
increases sorrow. Eccl. 1.18
By the time one comes to realise the truth of that, it's too late, of
course.
