Theft from a deceased estate by
Madbag
Please can anyone help with this information i can't find anywhere.
My father has recently died, but his exgirlfriend still had a key to his property and entered and took a key, paperwork relating to the estate and a painting my dad painted and possibly other stuff that we don't know about. At the time, we realised someone had been in the property and didn't know who and so we called the police...

Suicide Clinics use Hitler's Gas - It's Cheaper by
Logician
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article3641866.ece
Suicide clinics charge 3000 pounds for a suicide service. The Times
reports how most of that cost is for a doctor's bribe. The clinics are
now trying to kill people using gas which can take up to 30 minutes.
"Dignitas argued that gassing was faster than poisonous injection
because helium did not require a prescription,...

Pls help - I caused a car accident by
cambridgeshire
Hi,
Please help, I have no idea what will happen now. I caused a car accident today. I was driving out from a petrol station by my car and as I was turning onto a main road (inside a town, 30 mph limit) I hit a couple riding a motorbike. They were coming on the main road and I just somehow didn't notice them and they run into my car with a high speed. I don't know how it happened, they might not...

Damian Green's arrest triggers a constitutional crisis by
MM
This is a good summary of what questions the police and/or the Home
Office need to answer:
quote
Some questions which need answering by the appropriate authorities
this morning:
1) Is it true anti-terrorist officers were involved in Mr Green's
arrest? If so, what on earth is the possible justification for this
abuse of power?

Tradeweeks - timeshare by
Iain
I have just seen the advert on TV - about selling timeshare weeks - without
marketing fees.
I wonder if this is yet another scam? There seem to be several giveaways
that this may be the case:
- on their privacy policy ... there is no 'opt out' during the registration
process, but you can email them afterwards and ask them not to send
marketing information. This is in contravention to UK...

County Court - Settlement by
judith
I have taken action against a travel company over a holiday problem.
They were served the claim form on 5 November.
They acknowledged service : intending to defend all of the claim.
They phoned me yesterday and offered half - I told them where to go -
they then agreed to settle full amount including court costs.
I received a letter from them today where they confirm they will pay

Speeding laws to be revamped by
Alasdair
I notice that the government intend to revise the laws relating to
speeding.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/driving/article5194491.ece
This is all very well but when you're on a road where the speed limit
changes in quick succession from national to 30 to 40 then back to
national then 50 it is very easy to miss the signage especially where
it does not exist on a 30mph stretch. It should be...

Woolworths - Another Company Who Had Trouble Serving People by
Turk182
So Woolworths is in trouble - surprise, surprise (not). It's not the
kind of store I wouldt plan a visit to; it's just that every once in a
while I've seen the doors open and I've thought I MIGHT get something
in there. Whatever I wanted, whether it was a lottery ticket or a CD,
the problem is ALWAYS the same - you just can't get served because
they have one young lady, (usually called Trixie)...

what it is? by
skate
Hi, I am newbie there. Today, at RE lesson my sons teacher walked about a meter out of his way where he was, kicked my son`s table and walked by as if nothing happened. My son ignored that. Later the teacher went out of the classroom for no reason and swung the door so it would deliberately hit my son`s chair. My son said `Sir, it hit me`. The teacher pretended not to notice or hear so my son...
