"john boyle" wrote in message ... But they got a house at a council discount didnt they? Yes true, but my Nan could not have afforded it even at the discount, the option of staying on was not available either as the council had told her the house was in such a poor state that they wanted to move her out to allow for the work and then house her at another location. It was only that my sister and husband could act as guarantors to the mortgage and that they financed all the works that my Nan was able to stay on happily in her family home for another 10 years. Are you saying he has forged a will? No, just that he will have directed her to make him sole executor. What has your Nan got to leave if she is in a home? As far as I know nothing, nor do I want anything other than maybe memory things. What I do want is for her to have peace of mind now while she is alive! this is impossible with my uncles behaviour. She knows it to as she was asking me to take bits of her furniture away as she knows my uncle will just throw it out. I could not and don't want to even consider this until the terrible day that I know must come. I know this makes no odds in law but my main drive here is the terrible suffering he is causing to my Nan! She is already confused and all this pointless turmoil is making her last days very sad indeed. In this regard you have my sympathy. Thank you for that. -- Mike |
