Default After Divorce - is my ex entitled to personal property?

No divorce court is prepared to deal with ANY small items, Usually its the
house, the car or cars, any land, anything paintings or artifacts worth
thousands, the bank balance, life insurance and pensions provision..

The TV , the stereo, the bike, the computer is usually left to be settled by
the divorcee's .... The costs of asking a court to 'work it out' with all
solicitors cost become prohibitive to anything else.

You can always say that you were of the understanding that your ex-wife had
already taken them- end of story... Your word against hers, and remember
this is not a criminal trial.. this is a divorce settlement, the judge does
not want to do anything other than rubber stamp agreements between
solicitors....unless you turn up at court blatantly wearing some of her
jewellery which you say she had already taken with her.

......in my experience.....

unless your name is McCartney of course.
