If I was to put on of these in the back of my car would I be breaking the
law?

TIA

Its an ex police german shepherd I have that is very protective. I just
thought it would be an idea to cover myself in the event he did anything

I don't think you'd have an issue even without a dog, but since you
actually have a trained police dog, I'd say even less so.

Whether it would actually provide you with any legal protection if he
did 'do anything' is an entirely seperate question.

If you have no dog in the car at the time, it's not going to be exactly
convincing.

If your dog IS in the car at the time, how many people do you think will
break in anyway?

I`d imagine that the sticker would make it clear that you are aware of the
risk of the dog attacking someone, and did nothing about it, making any case
against you and the dog stronger. I`m not anti-dog by the way, got a
Chocolate Lab here warming my feet up :-)

I wonder if 'Gay Police Dog' would be worthy of prosecution.
