Default Transfer of title

Please can anyone explain what is meant by a Transfer of Title in
relation to a jointly owned & jointly mortgaged property?

Many thanks

It means changing the ownership of a property. Note that the terms of
the mortgage might prevent you from transfering title. There might also
be tax implications.

Thank you. If title was transferred, would that automatically transfer
the mortgage (if the terms allow to transfer the title)?
