Ex wife deceased - I now have the children
My ex wife recently died we have been divorced for 8 years and she had the residency order for our children. This now leaves me to now look after my 13 & 9 year old children. She had remarried and at the time of her death she had over 25 years service in the RAF. From what I believe her husband will receive a lump sum and a pension from the RAF. The children will receive a reduced pension of some sort also.
What I would like to know is whether I am able to make a legal claim on the lump sum and pension he is to receive from her death to help me financially with the raising of my children. I had paid my ex wife 'child support' under an agreement without the CSA being involved.
I hope that I have posted this in the right place.
Any advice welcome
