Hi,
I have purchased a camera from a camera store online in the UK. They failed to deliver it, so I complained, stating I had taken a day off work, and in the end we decided I could collect it from the store, and they would re-route my order to the store afterwards to replenish their stock. I asked for compensation for the day taken off work, the postage fee, and the inconvenience. A few days later, i received the order again in the mail. Same camera. Now, they have not said anything at the moment. Am I entitled to keep it and assume it is compensation, although it may well not be, or, would it be unjust enrichment. In which case, is there a time limit for them to claim the item back? Kind Regards, Sam |
