Minors and the death of parents by
Ian Cornish
All,
I'm going to be working on my will soon, and am trying to find out the
"default" situation in relation to guardianship of a minor in the
unfortunate event of no surviving parents.
I'm already set to see a solicitor about this, but I just want to be a
little more clued up before I meet her.
Is it a case of the surviving grandparents, or do the courts or social

Childrens views on parental contact by
kbsdgf@trashmail.net
Hi,
Apologies if this is not the correct place to post this message, it
would be appreciated if I could be pointed in the right direction.
I have residency of my two children, who are both above 8 years old.
My ex partner has relocated to the opposite side of the country. When
we seperated it was agreed my ex would travel down to visit the
children, rather than them travel up there for...

How long to allow for a refund. by
Alan Williams
Hello,
I am having great difficulty getting a refund from an ISP for money they
took from my credit card (yes I was really really stupid) after I ceased
to be a customer. I have been promised a refund three times with still
no sign of it arriving.
So, I'm writing a letter to their head office giving them N days to
refund it or I make a small claim to get the money back. My question is
-...

PCN for non dispolay of blue badge by
elliott131
Hi,
I parked in a council owned car park recently but forgot to put my blue
badge in the window and consequently received a parking ticket.
Last July I did exactly the same thing (doh!), wrote to the ticket
issuer and they cancelled the ticket and stated that they would not do
the same again.

Passport/travel query by
Netty
Hi
I'm hoping to go to southern Ireland in a couple of weeks to watch the
British Superbikes. I have sent my passport application off this past week
but am a bit worried I may not get it back in time.
I have scoured the net and have come across several sites saying that if I'm
a British Citizen (which I am) and I am travelling direct from UK mainland
to Ireland, I do not really need a...

Every little helps, except when we change our mind, and call you a liar by
Martin Baker
I was shopping in a large branch of a large supermarket when a customer,
after trying to push me out of the way at the reduced items counter in his
desperation to get the cheapest pickings, picked up my coat from my trolley
and between his two fists tore a 6 inch strip in it. He also threatened
several times to punch me, but as we were under plenty of CCTV and i geigned
that a friend was...

Child's age for determining residence? by

Commission Payment Will Not Be Paid - Legal? by
www.sixtiesradio.co.uk
I prefer not to say what company is involved, and I don't think it's
necessary, but this may affect many people.
Suffice to say that this company employs a number of agents who are paid in
part a fixed sum, and the rest by commission on sales. To date it has paid
commission on sales two months in arrears.
It has now announced that it is to pay commission one month in arrears, and
that the...

We took our mother's Will and Death Certificate to a solicitor to get

When it comes to data just what does unlimited mean? It looks like the
meaning of the word unlimited has officially changed. Whilst we have

actually means that there can a limit provided that it is fair. It
certainly isn't the meaning of the word that I...

County Court claim by
Gorf
Are photos accepted as documentary evidence in a county court claim?
We have had a claim issued against us, and are currently following the
legal advice we've received, that we should get three quotes to make
good the original shoddy workmanship. Our assumption is that we'd end
up having to pay the original quote minus the value of the lowest of
the three quotes, however the claimant is...
