Two Section 21's Possible? by Roger
Hi, I'm renting on a Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement. The initial 6 months is coming to an end and the landlord, through his agent, has issued me with a section 21 giving me notice to vacate 2 months after the initial 6 months is up. This has been issued some 3.5 months in advance as opposed to the minimum of 2 months. What I'd like to know is whether in the remaining time he can...

Being Fired by martin
Hi Guys My friend (yes really) was dismissed from her job after working there for 14 months. The first 6 months were under a job agency who technically employed her, so her contract of employment with the company was about 8 or 9 months. Anyway, there was a lot of bullying in the workplace, and when she complained to her personnel department and her union, she was summarily dismissed.

Disabled parking problem by ߨ®G
The council, in their wisdom, have decided to rearrange the roads in town here and mess things up. Now they have allocated 5 disabled parking sections in the high street. The other day I parked in one and came back to find a traffic warden about to book me. I asked her why as I had a blue badge and was fully legal in the car. She pointed out a new sign which said that only cars with the tax paid...

If I buy a piece of software from PC World and it does not do what the assistant says it will do, can I return it and demand my money back? PC World says no refunds are allowed on software. I bought a piece of software called Norton Ghost which is supposed to transfer the contents of one hard drive to another. I tried to copy the contents of an IDE drive to a USB drive and it wouldn't...

who stands the postage? by Shiela S
A buyer buys an item of clothing on eEay and pays postage costs. The item when it arrives has a hole in it, making it unwearable. The seller accepts that it is unwearable and offers a refund if the item is returned - but refuses to refund original postage, or to pay for postage for item to be returned. Is the seller correct in this? Shiela S

no more Final Hearing by 17
In a Family Law residency dispute, if the parties reach agreement just a few days short of the final hearing, what happens? Can the final hearing be stopped and turned into a directions hearing to have the agreed Orders made out and a Prohibited Steps Order cancelled? Advice needed on bad van repair by Dave W

I was covered with recovery and took it to a local garage. I contacted the seller who is willing to pay for repair. Unfortunately, the whole axle needed replacing. A new axle for the main dealer was around £1500. I contacted...
